Overview

Why Moorhouse?

We are a dynamic consulting firm, focused on delivering sustainable change. We make sure our clients succeed in their long-term goals by helping them turn their strategy into action through exceptional delivery and a commitment to establishing a culture of change.

We’re proud to be B Corp certified and to have our consulting expertise and performance for clients have been recognised with industry awards such as the MCA Awards and the Financial Times UK’s Leading Management Consultants Awards. Our clients love what we do and how we work, and we are looking for people to join the Moorhouse team.

We pride ourselves in being proactive, collaborative and straightforward team players. We like to move fast as a team and both honesty and integrity are key to this. In return you will be part of a supportive and high-performing team that shares the workload, looks after each other and celebrates success together. You can be assured of an exciting opportunity that will stretch you and equip you with skills, experience and knowledge that can help organisations respond to the turbulence, change and opportunity that will define the future of work. We don’t do politics, egos or personal agendas – it consumes too much time and distracts us from being successful together.

Experience

What are we looking for?

We are looking for curious and creative problem-solvers who are passionate about designing customer-centred experiences. As part of our Experience Design team, you will apply human-centred design methods to help clients reimagine and transform their services and journeys. We are keen to hear from individuals who are eager to learn, bring energy and empathy to their work, and want to grow their design and consulting skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.

In addition to the qualities we look for in all Junior Consultants at Moorhouse, you will ideally bring:

  • Passion for human-centred design – with a genuine interest in understanding people’s needs, behaviours and motivations to shape better services and experiences.
  • Exposure to design methods – some practical knowledge of approaches such as user research, persona creation, journey mapping, service blueprinting, prototyping, UX or design thinking workshops.
  • Strong visual and communication skills – ability to translate insights and complex ideas into engaging artefacts, whether through presentations, diagrams and infographics, videos, storyboards or other creative outputs.
  • Collaboration and empathy – confidence working with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds, including engaging with end-users, facilitating workshops and co-creating solutions.
  • Digital awareness – an understanding of how digital trends and technologies shape customer experience, and an eagerness to build knowledge in this space.
  • Contribution to a culture of sustainability and embrace Moorhouse’s social responsibility by integrating responsible practices and upholding ethical standards and awareness in everyday work.

Experience:

  • At least 18 months - with either consulting or industry experience (Energy & Utilities, Life Sciences, Health, Finance, Telco & Media and Government and Transport)
  • Experience in customer experience initiatives is advantageous but not essential — most importantly, we are looking for people who want to grow into design-focused consulting and contribute their creativity to real-world challenges.

What do I need before I apply

Application Process:

  • The deadline for the application is Friday 10th October 2025.
  • We are holding 2 in person assessment centres, dates are as following: Friday 17th October 2025 and Friday 24th October 2025 (You must be available to attend one of these all-day-event at our offices)
  • Successful candidates will be offered to start at Moorhouse on November 24th 2025. You must be available to start on this date and will be required in the office that week for your inductions and onboarding along with L&D and training.

Benefits

What we can offer you at Moorhouse:

  • A total cash package of up to £49,800 comprising of a base salary of £37,800 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months
  • 25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days with the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave per year.
  • Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Group Personal Pension Scheme and a range of discounted lifestyle and well-being benefits through Perkbox.
  • A culture where you will not need to compete with others because of promotion quotas or the typical distribution curves that govern performance management in other organisations. We recognise and reward performance consistently and transparently across the firm so that everyone knows where they stand.

We are committed to embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment – one where colleagues feel comfortable and can bring their whole selves to. It is only in doing so that we can deliver on our purpose to ‘develop Extraordinary Leaders’.

We recognise the importance of reflecting both our clients and the society in which we live and work and are proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We welcome and encourage applications from all people regardless of any diversity characteristic.

Our offices are based near Liverpool Street in London, though we expect you to spend much of our time with clients at their offices. We support flexible and hybrid working.
